Pinto Ranch: An Introduction

Western wear and Pinto Ranch have been synonymous for over ten successful years. Since opening its first flagship store in Houston in 2004, Pinto Ranch has since become the premier purveyor of the best in western lifestyle apparel, boots, and accessories in the United States.
Pinto Ranch prides itself in providing its customers with exclusive collections that represent the traditions and crafts of the old west and in order to fulfill this, Pinto Ranch partnered with Nextopia to improve their eCommerce site’s overall capabilities.
Pinto Ranch customers now have the ability to shop wherever and whenever it’s convenient for them thanks to their four U.S. stores and their user-friendly website that is also mobile optimized. Their website is run on the Bigcommerce platform and they have been a Nextopia customer since 2016.

The Challenge

Before working with Nextopia, Pinto Ranch was using a different eCommerce website and one of the major challenges faced
by both customers and employees was not being able to find certain products due to a lack of detailed product filters. On
their original site, they were only able to list their products and the color options available. Pinto Ranch also struggled with an unresponsive design and poor user experience on their brand and category pages and because of this they noticed they were missing out on sales.
After hearing nothing but positive feedback from Intuit Solutions, the company that developed their Bigcommerce template, and other customers using Nextopia software, Pinto Ranch migrated to Nextopia.

Nextopia Results

After implementing Nextopia’s Site Search with Autocomplete, Filters and Navigation, and Mobile Site Search, Pinto Ranch saw positive results immediately. Since making the switch to Nextopia, in addition to increasing revenue, the apparel company was able to increase conversion through search by 65%, decrease their search to exit rate by 13%, and decrease their bounce rate by 70%. With products becoming easier to locate, Pinto Ranch customers have been able to find exactly what they are looking for more efficiently, resulting in increased customer satisfaction.
