IRCE 2018 Recap: Thank you for visiting the Nextopia team!

June has been off to a great start! At the beginning of the month, the Nextopia team exhibited at the IRCE 2018 show in Chicago. This was a great chance for us to catch up with our customers and partners and meet with the many eCommerce retailers looking for ways to stay ahead of their competition.

The IRCE conference, which took place from June 5-8, boasted over 10,000 attendees with more than 600 solution providers, and over 130 sessions and workshops. This was a great platform for key industry takeaways and rising trends, no matter the business size or agenda.

This year at the conference, the Nextopia team was working double time to make sure that each attendee had a unique experience with us. So, we took great measures to ensure you could locate us at the show with not one, not two, but three booth locations! We understand how frustrating it can be to search for things 😉, so being a SEARCH focused company, we decided to make this just a tad easier.

On Wednesday morning, we hosted the Nextopia breakfast which brought in over 100 customers and partners! This was an amazing opportunity for us to connect and review not only our products and new features, but also to listen and takeaway the amazing feedback that we can incorporate into our roadmap. A big THANK YOU to all that attended!

Lastly, on Wednesday evening, we had a chance to unwind a little with our customers at the Punch Bowl Social where we showed off our bowling skills – which might need some fine tuning.

Overall, the show was a huge success! The common thread in many of our discussions with our customers and show attendees was the concept of improving the customer experience. With shoppers being exposed to tailored experiences from companies like Amazon and Netflix, search functionality combined with personalization has become an expectation and at the same time is greatly contributing to top line results. Having the right search, personalization, and predictive recommendation tools that utilize data learning techniques can drastically improve your productivity, reduce the need for manual intervention, and create truly individualized eCommerce shopping experiences.

Now that IRCE 2018 is a wrap, it is time to plan for IRCE 2019. Thank you, once again, to all that visited the Nextopia team and we hope to see you next year!
