5. With the start of the new year upon us, what is your best advice for ecommerce retailers?
Invest in the user experience across all devices. With the amount of users on the go, increasing each year, it is vital for your website to offer a best in class experience across all devices.
A good user experience proves to pay off in the long run with repeat visitors, longer time spent on site, and higher conversions. Ensure you are constantly optimizing, using tools such as heat maps, A/B Testing, and more, to continuously improve your site to reflect how your users are searching for certain products on your site.
6. With your current knowledge of site search, why do you think it is important for a merchant to invest into on-site search?
Users want results quickly! Search is important for users to be able to locate products and content quickly and efficiently, if not, they become frustrated. Having a good search experience is the key to customer loyalty, improved conversions and an improved overall user experience.
